1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Pick Stag™ or using PICKSTAG.COM, you agree to be bound by these terms. This is a legal agreement between you and Pick Stag LLC, a company operated out of Rochester, NY.

2. The Product: Use and Safety

  • Precision Tool: The Pick Stag is a precision-manufactured guitar accessory. It must be used only as directed in "Buck’s Field Guide".
  • "No Forcing" Policy: Users must not use excessive force when coupling the two magnetic pieces or inserting picks.
  • Acoustic Compatibility: The Pick Stag is designed for acoustic guitars. It is the user's responsibility to ensure the internal "Piece B" (Anchor) and external "Piece A" (Stag) are clean of debris before coupling to prevent finish scratches. Pick Stag LLC is not responsible for damage to instruments resulting from improper use or environmental contaminants.
  • Manufacturing Artifacts: You acknowledge that because this product is 3D-printed, a "break-in string" of PLA may appear early in the product's life. This is a normal part of the precision manufacturing process and is not a defect.

3. Mission-Driven Contributions

  • Mission Contribution: Your purchase price includes a fixed $0.20 contribution per unit to Sobriety Sounds. This contribution is made by Pick Stag LLC and is not a customer-directed donation.
  • Non-Tax Deductible: This contribution is a corporate commitment by Pick Stag LLC. Your purchase of a product does not constitute a personal tax-deductible donation to a 501(c)(3) organization.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Proprietary Design: The Pick Stag™ design, including the "Vault-Lock" and "Normal Draw" retention systems, is the exclusive intellectual property of Pick Stag LLC.
  • Brand Assets: All branding, including the "Buck’s Field Guide" text and the Pick Stag logo, may not be reproduced without express written consent.

5. Shipping and Returns

  • Pick Stag LLC provides complimentary shipping for all orders delivered within the Continental United States. The retail prices listed on the product pages are inclusive of all standard shipping and handling fees for this region.
  • Excluded Regions: Complimentary shipping is not available for orders destined for Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories, or International addresses. Shipping for these locations will be calculated and charged at checkout based on current carrier rates.
  • Delivery Expectations: We strive to process and ship all orders within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, Pick Stag LLC is not responsible for carrier delays or issues arising from incorrect address entry by the customer.
  • All Sales Final: Due to the custom, 3D-printed nature of the product and our mission-driven business model, all sales are final. We do not offer returns or exchanges except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect that prevents the functional use of the magnetic coupling system.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any disputes shall be resolved in the jurisdiction of Rochester, NY.
